Logan Botanic Gardens is one of the National Botanic Gardens of Scotland. It is one of the most exotic gardens in Scotland. The exceptionally mild climate allows an array of tender, exotic plants to thrive outdoors all year round.

Logan contains many small gardens, each with its own individual character.

The Walled Garden has a large selection of chusan palms and tree ferns alongside unusual shrubs, climbers and tender perennials. A large area of Woodland Garden stretches to quite a height. A shelter has been built where visitors can enjoy fantastic views over Luce Bay and the surrounding area.

The newly established Discovery Centre gives a great insight into plants and trees growing in the Gardens and provides visitors with a wealth of knowledge to take home with them.
The Botanics shop stocks a wide range of appealing local crafts, gifts and cards and a selection of Logan’s most popular plants.

The Salad Bar, café and tearoom, offers a wide range of refreshments from home baking to locally caught salmon salads.

The “Soundalive” self-guided tours allow visitors to learn more about the plants and gardens.logan botanic gardens
