Prestwick Airport is situated south of Glasgow and is the closest airport to the South Rhins. It is a small airport with all the facilities of a large one and is easily reached from all directions.

The journey from the airport is a pleasant one - traffic being relatively light along the route - and much of it is alongside the sea.
